SACH PASS

It is a magnificent trekking trail located in the Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh. Set at a height of 14500 ft, this path links Pangi tribal valley to the district headquarters of Chamba. This trekking trail is one of the best trails in Himachal Pradesh and takes travelers through landscapes with stunning rivers, dense forests, and quaint little stops like orchards and hamlets. In the past, the trek was used by villagers who wanted to reach Pangi Valley from Chamba and vice-versa.

The trek, no doubt, has retained its charm and has only increased in popularity among tourists and locals alike. Climbing the slopes in this challenging trek, travelers find themselves mesmerized with surreal views of snow-capped mountain peaks, beautiful clouds, and hanging glaciers. The trek usually opens from late June or early July to mid-October since it has to remain closed other times owing to heavy snowfall. The original trekking path begins from Trail in Chamba Valley and makes its way towards Sach Pass via a small village of Bhanodi.
